The sixth and final matchday of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League is coming up and a real highlight awaits Borussia Dortmund as they face Paris Saint-Germain. BVB has already secured qualification for the knockout phase and qualified for the round of 16 of the premier class. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether they will be group winners or runners-up.

Before the sixth matchday, Borussia Dortmund is at the top of the group and would win it if they win. Even with a draw, BVB would no longer be able to take first place away. Only if they lost would Paris Saint-Germain move past and win the group.
The pressure before the last matchday is clearly on PSG, as the French top club is not yet guaranteed to reach the round of 16 and could be eliminated if they lose in Dortmund if there is a winner in the parallel game between Newcastle United and AC Milan. Then PSG would only be in the second round of the Europa League next year.

BVB failed the dress rehearsal for the game against PSG. There was a 2-3 defeat against RB Leipzig at home. Due to a red card for Mats Hummels, Borussia Dortmund had to play outnumbered for around 75 minutes. In the end, Leipzig was ripped off and stole the three points from the Ruhr area. (smr)
