“Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director Addresses Real Madrid’s Interest in Jude Bellingham”

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl commented on the news that English star Jude Bellingham is close to moving to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid puts Bellingham at the top of his list of priorities in the summer transfer period, and reports emerged that the royal club managed to reach an agreement with the English international to sign him next summer.

Reportedly, Real Madrid are willing to bid more than €140m to sign Bellingham, breaking his own transfer record.

Kale, in statements to the sports network “ESPN”, talked about the rumors circulating about Bellingham, saying: “We will try to do everything to keep him, because we are very ambitious and we want to keep the best players in our team to perform the best.”

He added, “Going back to Bellingham, there is nothing to decide at the moment, there is nothing on the table, there is no offer, no communication, he is very focused on the next match and the next weeks, then we will decide how things develop.”

After pressuring Kale further to talk about the possibility of Real Madrid making a historic offer, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director said: “I know how business works. In the end, you have to react to this specific situation.”

He continued, “There are no instructions or descriptions of what to do. We have to take everything into consideration. We continue to try to recover from the effects of the Covid pandemic, and 150 million euros is a lot of money that we lost in the past.”

Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020, participated in 132 matches with the club, and is linked to a contract at Signal Iduna Park until the summer of 2025.

Besides interest from Real Madrid, Bellingham has also been linked with a return to his homeland, with Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City all interested in signing him, but he appears ready to continue his development outside England.
