Borussia Dortmund ended his season in a sad way. The club led by Lucien Favre lost 4-0 at home to Hoffenheim, for whom Kramaric signed a quadruple.
The BVB, with Roman Bürki on goal, certainly had a slightly overhauled team. But the scale of this defeat hurts a bit in the landscape. Dortmund nonetheless finished runner-up, but 13 points behind Bayern Munich, which have posted a tenth success in as many games since resuming competition in May. The Bavarians won 4-0 at Wolfsburg.
The other two qualified in the Champions League are RB Leipzig, 2-1 winner in Augsburg with Yvon Mvogo for once, but who could not avoid a success for Ruben Vargas, and Borussia Mönchengladbach, who won 2 -1 against Hertha Berlin. Breel Embolo signed the second goal for “Gladbach”, his eighth of the season in the league.
Werder Bremen ultimately avoided the tumble in the 2nd Bundesliga. The northern German club crushed a demobilized Cologne team 6-1. This allowed the Werder to take 16th place synonymous with a jump-off, to the detriment of Fortuna Düsseldorf, who lost 3-0 on the lawn of Union Berlin to Urs Fischer.
