Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham | Attracted attention in the celebration with Haaland. Now the England star’s response is creating laughter

Jude Bellinhgam (18) assures that he still stays away from beer, despite “generous” opponent fans.

Lacquer comrade Erling Braut Haaland took care of it three Borussia Dortmund points with the penalty that gave a 4-3 win away against Bayer Leverkusen Saturday.

In the pictures of the away team’s cheers, it was clear that the home fans did not appreciate the celebration of Haaland and the other Dortmund players at the corner flag.

The yellow-clad were almost bombarded with beer mugs, probably both with and without content, while they cheered for Haaland’s second and the team’s fourth goal.

Some video clips from Leverkusen’s tribune sector nearby have captured Bellingham’s reaction to this.

Hanging on the back of the Norwegian goal machine, England’s young national team profile got a flying beer mug right in his hand.

Then the midfielder seemed to pour some of the beer into his mouth before quickly spitting it out again.

Bellingham, who turned 18 this summer, later described the episode as follows via Twitter:

“Perfect day for my first beer … Am not a fan,” the 18-year-old writes in a post with four stills of the incident.

According to The Sun, Bellingham is not alone in having a taste for beer among English national team players.

West Ham’s Declan Rice (22) was also quoted before this summer’s European Championship opening match against Croatia that he has never consumed a beer, because he simply can not stand the smell of the brew.

Rice then proclaimed that he would agree to drink a beer for the first time if England went on to win the European Championship play-offs.

“Three Lions” came closer to a European Championship title than ever before, but beat the final at home at Wembley on a penalty kick against the winning team Italy.
