Bola.net – Manchester United had to admit Borussia Dortmund’s advantage with a score of 2-3 in the pre-season trial match which was held at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Monday (31/7/2023) morning WIB.
Two goals for Manchester United each were created by Diogo Dalot and Antony. Meanwhile, Donyell Malen bought up two goals for Dortmund, and another goal was scored by Youssoufa Moukoko.
After this, Manchester United will undergo a pre-season trial duel against the French club, Lens followed by a match against Athletic Bilbao.

First round

Manchester United actually appeared solid from the start of the first half. Erik ten Hag’s troops consistently built attacks that often endangered Dortmund’s defense.
MU could only open the scoring in the 24th minute. Dalot’s curved shot from outside the penalty box slid smoothly into a goal that Gregor Kobel could not stop.
Entering the 43rd minute, United had to concede twice in just a minute. Malen bought up the two goals for Dortmund. Score 1-2 lasted until halftime.

Back from the locker room, Manchester United equalized the score at 2-2 thanks to a goal scored by Antony in the 52nd minute. Kobel failed to anticipate his horizontal shot.
Dortmund regained the lead in the 71st minute through Moukoko’s action. Receiving assists from Marcel Reus, Moukoko easily beat Andre Onana from close range.
No additional goals were created from both teams in the remaining time. The 3-2 score for Dortmund’s victory was the final result of this match.
