Börse Express – New York Stocks: Robust numbers from J&J and The Travelers support Dow

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – Solid quarterly figures for the two in the Dow Jones Industrial corporations included Johnson & Johnson
(J&J) und The Travelers supported the leading US index on Tuesday. In early trading, the Dow rose a third percent to 35,376 points, still near the mid-August record high.

Other leading US stock market barometers also increased: The S&P 500
advanced 0.40 percent to 4504 points. For the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 it went up by 0.41 percent to 15,366 counters. / bek / he
