The US stock markets posted slight losses in early trading on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial
rose to a record high of 30,343 points, but quickly slipped and turned into the red. Most recently, the US leading index was 0.28 percent lower at 30,219.61 points. This indicates a Dow gain of around 0.6 percent this week.
Also the market-wide S&P 500 climbed another record high on Friday and was most recently 0.31 percent in the red at 3710.98 points. For the Nasdaq 100 selection index it went first to a new high and then down. Most recently, the technology-heavy index fell by 0.10 percent to 12,752.38 points./edh/fba
