NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – After a strong previous week, sadness returned to Wall Street on Monday. The leading index Dow Jones Industrial went into the new trading week almost unchanged at 31,509 points. Even robust economic data have not been able to drive prices up so far. Meanwhile, yields on the bond market have risen quite sharply again, which could keep share prices in check.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 fell in early trading by almost half a percent to 12,049 points. The market-wide S&P 500 was moderately down 0.10 percent at 3908 points./bek/men
