ONLINE PRESS CONFERENCE
Linz (OTS) – The corona crisis has created a dilemma for cities and municipalities – this is shown by a survey of Upper Austrian mayors carried out by the Institute for Social and Economic Sciences (ISW): On the one hand, investments in a modern, social and climate-friendly infrastructure are urgent necessary. On the other hand, the municipalities have little financial leeway for this. At an online press conference on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 11 a.m., we will present the results of the ISW mayor survey, which deals with the urgency and financial feasibility of investments in childcare, care for the elderly, climate protection and fast internet.
