The president of PKO BP, Szymon Midera, then confirmed that the bank is waiting for the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on the validity of the use of the WIBOR rate in loan agreements. In May of this year, the court in Czestochowa led to CJEU preliminary questions regarding PKO BP customer loan agreement based on WIBOR.
“We are preparing for this process. We are working in full consultation with all stakeholders, and the CJEU will ask for their position on this matter so that they are consistent,” said Midera .
