The once popular Latgalian group “Borowa Mc” has presented the audience with a new song “Atmosfera” – as they say, “wanting to inspire people to love and fall in love this summer”.
The authors of the song “Atmosfera” are the members of the group “Borowa Mc” Aigars Runčis and Guntra Kuzmina-Jukna, but it was produced by Fakts (Jānis Šmēdiņš). The song was written during the group’s creative camp last summer in Latgale, but the demo version was recorded in a summer house, which was adapted to the needs of the studio.
“”Atmosphere” is about love – both first romance and long-term relationships. I wrote this song while attending my friends’ wedding ceremony, inspired by happy people and hearing all the good wishes for the new couple. The second part is about the fact that my wife and I have been together for almost two decades and are still in love,” says Aigars Runčis.
It should be reminded that the group “Borowa Mc” was founded back in 2004 and experienced its heyday with the super hit “Vysskaistuokajai meitiņai” (2005), which won laurels in various music polls and charts. During its existence, “Borovieši” have released three studio albums, Aigars Runčis, Guntra Kuzmina-Jukna and Ingars Gusāns are members of the band.
This summer, “Borowa Mc” has also planned to actively perform concerts. The next concerts for the group are planned for the summer, performing in Livani in July, and participating in the grand concert “Born in Latgol” in Rēzekne in August.
