Thousands have been blown on tickets to tribute concerts by Börje Salming.

Mariette and Axel Schylström are among the artists who were to participate in the concert tour.

– It is tragic that money that would go to something good is gone, says Mariette.

The concert tour “Sounds of emotions” which was to be held in Börje Salmings honor is cancelled.

The reason is that the organizer squandered the ticket money, as Aftonbladet previously reported.

The surplus would also have gone to the Börje Salming Foundation.

– What has happened is incredibly sad for everyone involved. It’s always great fun to play and meet the audience, and now we’d also help raise money for the incredibly important ALS research, says the artist Mariette.

Together with Jon Henrik Fjällgren, LaGaylia Frazier, Richard Söderberg and Uno Svenningssonshe would be on stage during the six concerts that will now not take place.

– It is tragic that the money that would go to something good is gone, and the audience does not get what they are paid for, she says.

“Dirty everything”

The artist Axel Schylström was supposed to be a crowd pleaser on the tour.

– I was very, very shocked when I found out what had happened, he says.

None of the artists receive any financial compensation for the missed concerts, but Schylström does not care about the money.

– On the other hand, I think it’s tragic that right now there is no solution for how people who bought tickets should get their money back, it feels damn boring.

He is also disappointed that ALS research now receives no support.

– It’s also really boring. It feels like it can’t get any worse. It all gets so dirty somehow, he says.

Helena from Katrineholm was blown on her ticket

Helena Svensson from Katrineholm had been looking forward to going to the concert in Linköping.

She is disappointed and wishes that the ticket company Tickster took more responsibility for the situation.

– It is clear that as a private individual I feel that Tickster is a large company and should take some of the hit, but I know that it doesn’t work that way, she says.

A big reason why Helena Svensson bought tickets was that she wanted to join and support the Börje Salming Foundation.

– It’s Börje Salming, it’s not with a small name that they advertised this. I think that Börje himself would have been pissed if he was alive, she says.

The ticket company’s CEO: “A big shock”

Ticksters VD Niclas Lindeberg says that they are currently working feverishly to find a solution.

– We are in contact with a number of actors to increase finding a solution for the event as such. There are many people involved, but it is also a big shock to everyone how this has unfolded.

Niclas Lindeberg has never experienced anything like this.

– It happens, of course, that events are cancelled, but not for a reason like this, he says.

Could you have done anything differently to prevent this from happening?

– It is of course a question that we asked ourselves immediately when we understood what had happened. At the same time, we have worked with this organizer for several years and we have had a huge amount of events, even recently, where everything flowed without any problems, says Niclas Lindeberg and continues:

– We have had no reason to believe that this organizer could have a problematic business.
