The Prime Minister promised that as soon as the Russian vaccine is approved for use in the EU, Bulgaria will order from it as well.
“If the Russian vaccine, which has given its documents to the EAL, is approved, then the Commission will go and check how it is produced and we will allow it, we will take it from her and give it to whoever wants to get it. The Chinese have not yet submitted documents to the EAL. This is a very regulated market for medicines. I dare say that compromises are not allowed in Europe with this.
So why didn’t Borissov call Xi Jinping, Li Katsyan or Putin? I can call, but this will not be able to enter our network, because it is not allowed by EAL and respectively by the Bulgarian. If it is allowed, we will immediately give the Bulgarians a choice, “said Boyko Borissov.
Boyko Borissov called for the anti-epidemic measures to be observed and stressed that the government had never aimed to harm business and oppose it to other sectors.
