A wave of joking comments and memes sparked Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, who began a tour focused on tensions in Ukraine.
The meeting took place on Monday and began in a one-on-one meeting in one of the Kremlin’s offices. The two leaders then continued the conversation over a working dinner, which included a five-species fish soup, ravioli, venison with sweet potatoes and blackberries, and more.
