Borisov will lead two lists of GERB – Elections

The GERB sheets are ready and signed. We have no problem with them. They will be registered finally on Sunday, said GERB leader Boyko Borisov, without giving details.

As always, Borisov will lead in two regions in the “leadership” metropolitan 25th MIR and in Plovdiv. This year, he promised to sit on the parliamentary bench, something he refused in the last four parliaments, writes epicenter.bg.

“This time I will become a deputy, if they want me so much. I will become so that they cannot outplay us, as they did last time,” Borisov vowed on TV. The previous chairman of the parliamentary group, Desislava Atanasova, will also lead in two districts – in Ruse and Razgrad.

The vice-presidents of the party, Daniel Mitov and Tomislav Donchev, will again draw the lists in Varna and Gabrovo. Toma Bikov will be at the 24th MIR Sofia. Vezhdi Rashidov is expected to be an MP again. In all probability, he will lead the list of Plovdiv region, where he will replace the young and assertive Desislava Trifonova.

Tsveta Karayancheva will traditionally lead the battle for her native Kardzhali, although last year she failed to win a mandate.

GERB retains its ministers as leaders:

Kostadin Angelov in Veliko Tarnovo,
Nikolay Nankov in Lovech,
Denitsa Sacheva in Dobrich,

Desislava Taneva in Sliven,
Rosen Zhelyazkov in Blagoevgrad,
Petya Avramova in Vratsa,

Hristo Terziyski in Kyustendil,
Ekaterina Zaharieva in Pazardjik,
Delyan Dobrev in Haskovo,

Temenuzka Petkova in Targovishte,
Krasimir Valchev in Shumen and
Mladen Marinov – Sofia region.

Kiril Ananiev, whose leadership position in Pernik is occupied by the leader of the GERB youth organization, Georg Georgiev, will probably be forgiven by the parliament.

The first in Burgas will probably be Zhecho Stankov, extremely active on energy issues, and in Ruse – Rositsa Kirova, who 2 years ago Slavi expelled from ITN because she got into Borisov’s SUV. He, on the other hand, took her to GERB and twice she was broadcast as deputy head of the parliament. The leader of the coalition partner SDS – Rumen Hristov, is expected to retain the first position in the Sofia 23rd MIR.

According to Borisov, GERB leads with 10 percent. “We will be winners, because you can see what we have built,” the former prime minister is emphatic.
