Borisov to Yaneva via Viber: “We can go for a walk in the park” –

/ world today news/ #Yanevagate 4: Dimitar Uzunov and Yasen Todorov “hold” the SCC

The successive recordings of conversations between Vladimira Yaneva, Rumyana Chenalova and an unidentified man reveal severe dependencies and conflicts of interest within the SJC, but also impermissible external influence from the executive power.

It is clear from them that Janeva sent an SMS to Boyko Borisov on Thursday, February 12. At that time he was in Brussels, but only 3 minutes after the text message with Yaneva, “Mitko” – “his man” at the Supreme Court – contacted him. It is about Dimitar Uzunov, who was the head of the district court in Sandanski and was proposed as a member of the SJC by Yane Yanev.

“Mitko” asked to communicate with Yaneva on Viber, not on the normal phone line. He reassured her that “the man from Brussels just called him” and promised that they would not hang her, and the statements about “400 years in prison” were for the media.

“The man from Brussels” who made a similar statement to the media on Thursday, February 12, is Boyko Borisov. Then he literally said the following:

“Because if Tsvetanov was given 4 years, for what they did, everyone in the chain, from the judge to the last one, should be given 400 years each, if we assume that there is commensurability.”

Shortly after the conversation with Uzunov on Viber, the still titular head of the SGS received a message from an unknown subscriber again on Viber. With a playful hint, he let her know that her problems would be solved.

“Let’s not forget that Sandanski is the warmest city in Bulgaria, and if Mitko says so, we can go for a walk in the park.”

Yaneva convincingly explains to Chenalova that “there is no one else” the author of the mysterious message, obviously referring to Boyko Borisov. “Yes, yes, yes, yes,” agrees Chenalova.

The guarantees from “the man in Brussels” were confirmed to Vladimir Yaneva and from “Milka”. It is about another member of the SJC – Milka Itova, who spoke with Dimitar Uzunov.

“Vladi, we must see each other”

In addition to Uzunov, Janeva also received guarantees from another member of the SJC – Yasen Todorov, who called her and asked to see each other live on Tuesday, February 17 (the conversation between Janeva and Chenalova is from Thursday, February 19).

Yasen Todorov is the head of the ethics commission, which is handling the leaked recordings. He told Janeva the following: “Boyko sent one of his closest people to tell me: in no way should we hook you.”

“Yes,” agrees Chenalova.

“The two people who hold the Council are Mitko and Yasen”

However, the guarantees given by Borisov did not work, and in the end, on February 19, the SJC removed Yaneva. The judge reflects on this discrepancy between words and deeds and does not understand how, after having secured the support of the two most important lobbies in the Council, Dimitar Uzunov and Yasen Todorov, she ended up being “scratched”.

“Why is he making Mitko call me? And did I tell you that he also sent a man to Jasen? The two people who hold the Council and the lobbies around them are Mitko and Yasen. The two fittest in the Council. And he sends to them,” Janeva quips, talking about Boyko Borisov’s messengers.

“Perhaps this is a game of the chief prosecutor” – raises a hypothesis Chenalova. “Do you know if Boyko really pressed him?” The unknown man from the recording supports her – “Have you thought about it?” Yaneva, however, rejects such an option, because she knew Borisov well and could go and talk to him directly, in which case she could reveal Tsatsarov’s game if there was one.

Bivol tried to contact Yasen Todorov and Dimitar Uzunov by phone, but they did not answer the calls and text messages. Milka Itova said on the phone that she was abroad and asked for questions to be sent to her by email. At the time of publication, no response was received.

Viber: We keep message history for 30 months. We will give them to law enforcement if they ask for them

Bivolu sought information from the legal department of the Viber service, from where they replied that the history of calls and messages is kept for 30 months. Information about who talked or exchanged messages with whom, at what time and from which IP address can be provided upon request by law enforcement authorities. The content of the conversations itself is not saved. The company bills for the lookup of this information at $500 per number for one year or part of that amount for the corresponding period. This means that if there is a will for an investigation, one can be conducted and the information in the records can be confirmed or denied.

But who to investigate? From what has been presented so far, it is clear that half of the SJC, the chief prosecutor and the head of the Supreme Administrative Court are involved in the intrigues with the “scolding” of Janeva. Moreover, almost the entire “independent judiciary” turns out to be dependent on the whims and caprices of the prime minister. And this is an unmistakable sign that 26 years after the fall of communism, we still live in a totalitarian regime painted with a democratic facade.

The facade that “the man” shows in Brussels, where he receives “congratulations”.

And then he walks with some judge in the park.

Vladimira Yaneva: At the same time, right now, in all my drama, which is, I’m going crazy.
And I send Boyko an SMS. And I write to him like this. So he’s in Brussels. It’s on Thursday. I haven’t, I’m sorry, I haven’t broken the law. In addition, in 4 years, I have signed over 15,000 SRCs. Something that is absolutely true, because the statistics are so many, they are 5,000 per year.
Not even three minutes pass and Mitko Uzunov calls me: “Do you have Viber?” I shout: “I have Viber.”
And you know that Mitko Uzunov is his man in the Council and with whom he communicates and he answers to him for everything.
Not even three minutes pass, Mitko calls me on Vibera and tells me: “The guy from Brussels just called me and said not to worry, that he made this statement only for the media, for 400 years. Don’t think about it at all, don’t worry.”
Another 10-15 minutes pass, I open my viber and see the following message from an unknown number: “The wind is very strong here too. Forecasters say the weather will clear up. Let’s not forget that Sandanski is the warmest city. If Mitko says, we can go for a walk in the park.’
It can’t be from anyone else. (RC: Yes, yes, yes, yes) Well, how about it. (RC: Yes, yes, yes) And I spoke with Mitko 10 minutes earlier. And here the wind is strong and so on and so forth. From another place that they call. He also talks about Mitko like that.

RC: Yes, yes, yes, yes…

VYA: I’m already completely calming down. Milka calls me and says: Don’t worry, Mitko called me and told me that he spoke with you know who. And that everything is fine and there are no problems.
Yasen Todorov calls me on Tuesday and says: “Vladi, we need to see each other.”
See you with Jasen. Yasen said: “Boyko sent me one of his closest people to tell me not to hook you in any way!”.

RC: Yes.

Vladimira Yaneva: I cannot understand, however, why he acts in this way, I cannot understand.
Why is he making Mitko call me? And did I tell you that he also sent a man to Jasen?

Man: Yes

VYA: Well, I can’t understand, why do you do it?
This is inexplicable to me.

RCH: Is it the main thing… to be alone?

VYA: He’s sending to the two healthiest people on the Council.

The two people who hold the Council and the lobbies around them are Mitko and Yasen. The two fittest in the Council. And he sends to them.

RCH: Could it be the Attorney General’s game?

Man: And maybe… she thought about it a bit.

RCH: Do you know if Boyko really pressed him?

Man: Yes.

VYA: But I asked the chief prosecutor. I told him: Do I need to go talk to Boyko? And he said: As you judge.

RC: Well, he can’t tell you: Don’t go.

VYA: Well, yes, but he knows very well that we know each other personally and very well. And if I go to ask him what’s going on? And he said: I have no finger, yours is only the thumb.
