Borisov: Over 1,500 people work on the highways on weekends –

/ world today news/ More than 1,500 people are working on the highways at the moment, on weekends, in order to keep the promise that the highway to the sea will be opened on July 1, and the Shumen-Belokopitovo section – on July 15.

This is what Prime Minister Boyko Borisov told journalists in Pliska. He pointed out that today over 200-330 people are working on the newly constructed route of the “Hemus” highway between Shumen and Belokopitovo.

Asphalt is being laid, with archaeologists still working in only one section. On Monday, the Minister of Regional Development will meet with them to discuss how they can do it faster.

“If the archaeologists leave on the 20th, the site will be ready on July 15. It turned out that the cyclamen suits only came here, they didn’t give a single lev. What we gave before, later the caretaker government gave 8 million. BGN, and now us again,” said the Prime Minister.
