“And I’m going back to the cauldron in hell, where only Bulgarian has no security – we pull ourselves down,” he says.
He pointed out that all the comments are also heard in Europe.
“People cannot understand us – do we want to stop our funds, do we want to stop our programs, what do we want, is this our desire? And in fact, this money does not go to GERB, nor to BSP, nor to any party – it goes to business, to municipalities, it goes to the people in reality,” the Prime Minister declared.
The Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds and Economic Policy Tomislav Donchev noted that the program ended at the end of 2015.
“How can they stop us when it’s over? The most curious thing is how they can not refund money that has already been paid – let’s start there. Otherwise, there is all kinds of correspondence with the European Commission, and for someone to become hysterical based on one letter from the Commission means that they are not aware of what the correspondence with the Commission contains at all,” commented Donchev.
