Borisov angry with the Supreme Court: I have nothing to do with “Yanevagate” –

/ world today news/ “When we formed this government, there was no talk of constitutional changes at all. We had a lot of meetings with Hristo Ivanov and other experts and we found 180 votes, with all my will.” This was said by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov during a session of the SJC in connection with the Yaneva Gate affair.

“GERB and RB have more than 120 votes – the Constitution does not change by that many,” said Borisov, quoted by “Focus” and added: “Democracy invented this.”

“I have not singled out anyone for a political speech before, but your speech is political. You are criticizing me for my work, for the decisions of the parliamentary group. From where are you going to give me intelligence? You are attacking me politically now. I have come to explain to you that I do not have in common with the “Yaneva Gate” case. You bring me in here again for an illegal recording. The first thing is, you have to ask if it is legal or not,” stressed the prime minister.

“If it is bad for me to interfere in the SJC, it is just as bad for you to interfere in politics,” Borisov also said.

“You pushed me into the toilet and ended up making me feel guilty. I’m talking about those who raise the topic of “Yaneva Gate”. This is a political statement. You ask me why I haven’t changed the Constitution. I have 84 deputies and I can’t change it. I want to, but I can’t,” stressed the Prime Minister.

He indicated that he is always ready to appear before the SJC, to be heard. “However, it sounds to me that you will come to interrogate me on some sort of Gate,” added Borisov.

“What do you suspect me of? My intentions are the purest. Have I called, commented on your speech? You invited me, I told you that my appearance is not like others. I have in no way called or expressed my opinion towards you. I expressed it today because my name is involved again,” he turned to Panov.

Borisov clarified that he wanted to change the Constitution, but later it turned out that Radan Kanev wanted to make a new political project.

Borisov left the Supreme Court with the words: “If anything, Lozan Panov should forgive me. We continue to work.” After that, he did not stop for a comment in front of the journalists. A only joked with them that they were not allowed in the meeting room. (note ed. the meetings of the SJC are monitored by the media on monitors).

Minutes after Borissov left the Supreme Court, the members of the council stopped the Janevagate investigation. Only three members of the council were against the proposal of the commission, four abstained, the rest were “for”.

We remind you that Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived at the building of the SJC to be heard after the Chairman of the Supreme Court Lozan Panov interrupted the session of the SJC by announcing that he had received an SMS, which he claims was sent to him by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov .
