A little over 11 thousand BGN salary will receive the new judges in the Constitutional Court Borislav Belazalekov and Desislava Atanasova, who were sworn in on Friday. They were elected by the National Assembly.

According to the law, constitutional judges receive a monthly remuneration in rameasure of 90% of the salary of the president of the Constitutional Court. His remuneration is equal to the arithmetic mean of the monthly salaries of the President and the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Who is Desislava Atanasova, elected constitutional judge (Biography)
This means that the chairman of the CC receives between 12,500 and 13,000 BGN per month, calculated without the allowance for time served.
The remuneration of the head of state is equal to two deputies’ salaries, and that of the head of the National Assembly is 55% more than the salary of the people’s representative.
