David Frost, the British man in charge of leading the Brexit negotiations, was promoted to Minister of State by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Y will be in charge of managing the new relations between the United Kingdom and the European Union.
This will also have among its duties to manage the new trade policy of the country as well as carry out reforms that “maximize the opportunities of Brexit.”
Frost, 55, said on Twitter that he feels “Enormously honored” and had words of recognition for his new partner in the Executive, the “number two” of the British government, Michael Gove.
“To do it (his new job) I lean on the shoulders of giants, especially those of Michael Gove, which did an extraordinary job for this country in the negotiations with the European Union last year ”, he remarked.
The new Minister of State had previously been appointed National Security Adviser, but was removed after criticism from the Conservative Party. Previously, Frost has made a career in the British diplomatic service.
