Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson presents his memoirs with a work that arrives in bookstores in the United Kingdom on October 10, and where he already announced that in one of its chapters questions the direction of the current government and “fears” for the Malvinas Islands.

In the book, Johnson, 60, describes his rise in politics to become mayor of London, before leading the Leave campaign during the 2016 Brexit referendum and becoming Conservative prime minister in 2019. Johnson fell into disgrace among his colleagues less than three years later, in 2022, after a series of scandals, notably his parties at the prime minister’s residence, in Downing Street, in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
However, one of the points that caught the most attention was when he mentioned that “For the first time in decades, I feel genuinely concerned about Britain abroad, from Gibraltar to the Falkland Islands“.
