British Prime Minister, Boris Johnsondenounced on Wednesday the “immoral” aerial bombardment of a children’s hospital in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol and promised that the Russian president Vladimir Putin He must be held accountable “for his terrible crimes.”

“Few things are more immoral than attacking the vulnerable and defenseless,” Johnson tweeted after the attack, which reportedly left 17 adults injured. “The UK is looking for more support so that Ukraine defend itself against air strikes,” he added.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced on Wednesday that the UK would continue to supply anti-tank missiles to Ukraine “in response to continued Russian aggression.

The UK has so far delivered 3,615 NLAWs (man-portable anti-tank missiles) and will deliver “more”, it announced.

Also, “in response to Ukrainian requests, the government has also decided to explore the possibility of donating Starstreak high-speed portable missiles,” he stressed.

These projectiles, which can counteract the threat of combat planes or helicopters, will allow “Ukrainians to better defend their skies” although they remain within the scope of “defensive” weapons, the minister specified before the British deputies.
