It took 34 days, 17 hours, 10 minutes, 28 seconds. Then Boris Herrmann arrived in Itajaí, Brazil. Even the seconds are counted in this round-the-world race, timed by the ever-rolling waves and defying ordinary standards. But this time the sailors on their yachts actually fought for every beat of the needle. They stalked each other nose to nose until the end of the stage.
