Former tennis star Boris Becker (56) and his former partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro (33) are getting married this Saturday in the upscale town of Portofino, a former fishing village on the Italian Riviera. As RTL reports on its homepage, the wedding reception took place on Friday evening in a restaurant on the Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta. Becker himself shared several Instagram stories from his guests on Saturday, who documented the couple’s arrival in the port of Portofino in film footage and photos.
Among other things, the bride can be seen getting out of a motorboat next to Boris Becker in an elegant white satin dress with black polka dots. The ex-athlete is dressed in a chic light blue three-piece suit and combines it with a white shirt and white sneakers. Both are grinning from ear to ear in the photos and waving to their guests. Former tennis player Barbara Rittner (51), whose post was also shared by Becker, writes “All the best to you both” alongside a photo of the couple. According to media reports, the approximately 80 guests include his two eldest sons Elias (25) and Noah Becker (30) from his marriage to Barbara Becker (57), who were also waiting on the pier for their father to arrive.
It is Boris Becker’s third marriage
This is already Boris Becker’s third marriage: the former world number one was married to Barbara Becker from 1993 to 2001. In 2009, he married his then girlfriend Lily Becker, from whose relationship his third son Amadeus (14) was born. Boris Becker also has a daughter, Anna Ermakova (24), from a fleeting acquaintance with Russian-British model Angela Ermakova (56). Since 2020, Becker has been in a relationship with Italian risk analyst Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, whose roots lie in the island states of São Tomé and Príncipe. He announced the engagement at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024.
