On Thursday the Borderlands Legendary Collection for the Nintendo Switch, which is due to be released on May 29, 2020. But on the same day as the Borderlands Legendary Collection, two more BorderlandsCommercial versions appear. Because are on the Nintendo website for the American area Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection listed. The latter includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

According to the preview pictures at Nintendo, both commercial versions should not require an additional download to be able to be played. It is not currently known whether the retail versions of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will also be available in Germany. When purchasing the retail version of Borderlands Legendary Collection, an additional 41.6 GB must be downloaded so that you can play it completely.
The studio responsible for the Nintendo Switch port was also unveiled. This is how the porting comes from Turn me up Games. The developer’s previous work includes the Nintendo Switch port from Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. According to the developer, the collection should have a resolution of 1080p at 30 FPS (Frames per second) can be displayed on the Nintendo Switch. In addition, all improvements to the Game of the Year Edition from Borderlands are said to include and Motion control have been implemented.
It is also possible to play in pairs on a Nintendo Switch on the split screen. Up to four players can play together online. The additional content Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Battle for Sanctuary is not included in the Borderlands Legendary Collection, but the following additional content is included:
