Information about the termination of the work of the Larga-Kelmentsy checkpoint was not confirmed.
On Wednesday, February 22, it was reported that Moldova temporarily suspended the operation of the Larga-Kelmentsy checkpoint on the border with Ukraine. However, TSN.ua verified this. It turned out that the information is not true.
About this TSN.ua reported to the GNSU.
According to Andrey Demchenko, the speaker of the GNSU, checkpoints have been closed on the Pridnestrovian segment of the border with Moldova since February 24. All other points on the border with Moldova are working.
By the way, the Newsmaker wrote that the reason for the decision to close the checkpoint was the possible missile attacks of Russians on Ukrainian cities.
Recall that in the Chernivtsi region in the Ukrainian-Romanian borders officially opened a new automobile checkpoint “Dyakovtsy – Rakovets”. In particular, the checkpoint will be open to truck traffic.
