‘Borat’ sequel charged with anti-Semitic scene

–>
In the first Borat film had quite a few controversial scenes and it seems that the sequel, Borat Subsequent Moviefilmwill not be much different in that area. The sequel has not yet been released or a lawsuit has already been filed against the makers.

It involves a scene in which Borat (of course again played by Sacha Baron Cohen) talks to Judith Dim Evans, a Jewish woman who survived the Holocaust. During the conversation he uses anti-Semitic language, which some people think is going too far.

From bad to worse
However, it does not stop there. Evans has since died and, according to her relatives, was not even informed about the satirical nature of the scene. Director Jason Woliner claims, however, that she was notified. Apparently, out of respect for Evans, Cohen would also have broken his tradition of provoking spontaneous reactions from people and immediately told them that it was a film.

Tribute
Furthermore, the film is said to be dedicated to Evans and the distributor Amazon Prime, at Cohen’s request, would provide a way for viewers to listen to an Evans story to find out what happened to her family during World War II.
