Boqvist two-goal shooter for the first time in his NHL career

Adam Boqvist makes his first season in Columbus after the swap deal with Chicago who sent star defender Seth Jones in the opposite direction.

Right now, the Swede is red hot.

Last night when Columbus defeated San Jose after four straight losses, the former JVM hill was one of the victory organizers.

Boqvist gave Columbus the lead in the match with a proper shot in the first cross and in the third period he increased to 5-3 – again he went for the finish in the nearest corner and this time he was nicely played by compatriot Gabriel Carlsson.

This is the first time that Boqvist became a two-goal scorer in his NHL career and Columbus eventually won 6-4.

Boqvist has scored five goals and a total of seven points in the last six matches – in total, the former Brynäsbacken has scored nine points (6 + 3) in 16 matches.

Erik Karlsson scored one of the goals for San Jose – his sixth of the season.
