An additional, booster dose of the vaccine over the past day was received by 60 people, while the day before there were 14 of them.
A full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in Ukraine has already been received by 12.9 million people. This was announced on Saturday, December 18, by the Ministry of Health.
“During the day on December 17, 136,962 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine. The first dose was received by 42,544 people, 94,358 people were fully immunized, 60 people received an additional dose,” the message says.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 14 355 540 people have been vaccinated, of which 14 355 538 people received the first dose, 12 919 024 people were fully immunized and received two doses, 74 people received an additional dose. A total of 27,274,636 vaccinations were carried out.
It was previously reported that Ukraine is ready for booster vaccination and has already contracted millions of doses of vaccine. This was stated by Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
