“It has been decided by the President (Joko Widodo) that the booster vaccination will run on January 12 for adults over 18 years old according to WHO standards and will be given to districts/cities that have met the criteria for 70% first injection and 60% second injection,” explained Budi Gunadi. Budi Gunadi Sadikin added that there are 244 districts or cities that have met the requirements for a Covid-19 vaccine booster.
“The booster vaccination will be given for a period of more than 6 months after the second dose,” said Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
“We identified 21 million targets in January that fall into this category and we will determine which type of booster we will determine if they are homologous (the vaccine is the same as the previous one) and heterologous (the vaccine is different from the original).”
