Gerindra Party politician, Fadli Zon, insinuated President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when he would go to Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan), to review the floods that had an impact on residents. President Jokowi It is known that he had tested the Mandalika Circuit directly in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). While giving his appreciation, Fadli Zon also quipped Jokowi about the Sintang flood.
“It’s amazing, sir. Congratulations on the inauguration of the Mandalika Circuit. When are you going to Sintang, it’s been 3 weeks the floods haven’t subsided,” wrote Fadli on his personal Twitter account, @fadlizon, as seen on Saturday (11/13/2021).
The flood that hit Sintang did occur for more than two weeks. The Sintang flood has not subsided and has caused thousands of houses to be submerged.
The Sintang Regency Government has extended the flood emergency response period in its area for 30 days starting from October 13 to November 16, 2021. It is recorded that more than 140 thousand residents were affected by the flood.
PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto defended Jokowi from Fadli Zon’s insinuation. PDIP, said Hasto, has already deployed its cadres to Sintang. Therefore, Fadli is considered only able to provide criticism without action.

“Politics is only words and deeds. PDI-P understands the flood conditions in West Kalimantan very well. Even the party through the Baguna party has moved quickly.
