Boom is the famous face of VRT NWS in ‘The masked singer’: “I said that for 25 years I don’t want to participate in a show”

The recordings go back to May, so almost six months ago. De Vilder is now busy preparing the election marathon that VRT broadcasts on October 13.

Viewers found out who was under Boom’s suit through a couple of episodes. It wasn’t obvious, De Vilder admits. “You must know me already.”

In episode 3, a newspaper is shown with the date August 20, 1999. “Newspaper refers to the media. And August 20, 1999 is the day I sent the my first News,” said De Vilder.

Germany was also reviewed. De Vilder moved to Würzburg for his law studies at Erasmus. And choir music can be heard, referring to the past.
