Boom in buying new buses in Bulgaria

Registrations of new commercial vehicles (light, medium and heavy goods, buses) in February decreased by 15.7% compared to the same month in 2021 and reached a level of 131,874 units. This is shown by the current data of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Europe (ACEA).

The result for the first two months of the year was 257,127 units, which is 13.5% less than the same period last year.

Decreases were registered in each of the four main markets – Spain (-21.9%), France (-19.3%), Germany (-5.8%) and Italy (-2.8%), while in the UK there was a decline of 15.3%.

Registrations of new light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes), which are the main driver in the commercial vehicle business in Europe, shrank by 18.2% in February (106,899 units) and 16.3% in the first two months of 2022 206 345 ed).
