Bookla also starts operating in Lithuania :: Dienas Bizness

The service booking application “Bookla” created in Latvia will continue to offer services in Lithuania as well, informs Oleg Smirnovs, the sales manager of “Bookla”.

Currently, companies are actively looking for companies in Lithuania that want to join this platform.

The created tool is a good helper for various industries during the restrictions, as it controls the flow of people indoors with the online booking function, as well as stores the history of all visitors, which can be used to identify Covid-19 infected contacts if necessary. The application also provides contactless payments and ticket verification with a QR code reading function.

This solution in Latvia helped to open and control the flow of people in ski resorts, as well as stores, such as “Stockmann”, “Debenhams”, etc. are actively using the application.

With the help of the application, each customer is given a specific time to visit the store, providing the necessary breaks between visitors to prevent crowding. Throughout the visit, following the security and epidemiological measures, the client is accompanied by a shopping consultant. The history of each client’s visit is stored in a single system.

The application is offered in four languages - Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian and English. It has a search function for the company or service of interest with filtering of distance, price and other parameters. Bookla displays a description of each company and service, location, photo gallery, contact information and booking calendar with an automatic reminder function.

SIA “Bookla” was registered in October 2019, and the company’s share capital is 302,800 euros. The company is owned by SIA “ITissible” and SIA “Čili”, but the real beneficiaries are Aleksandrs Orlovs, Igors Ņemeņonoks, Jeļena Veide and Māris Veide. Orlov and Nemenonok are the biggest owners of “Chile”, but the Types own “ITissible”.

In 2020, Bookla had a turnover of 197 euros and a loss of 31,482 euros.
