The decree of the Ministry of Economic Development regulating the so-called “pc bonus“. The measure aims to encourage the digitization of families with an ISEE not exceeding 20 thousand euros.
The contribution of 500 euros for internet, pc or tablet
As is known, the single contribution will amount to a maximum of 500 euros. It will be possible to benefit from it as a discount on the purchase of devices, but it will be possible to use it to lower the price of sale of season tickets to ultra-broadband internet for a period of at least one year and, if provided, the related activation services. The bonus will cover the supply of electronic devices such as a modem, a tablet or a personal computer that must be coupled to the connection in the package sold by the operator. But be careful, because the plan will last until resources are exhausted (204 million) within the year from the start of the intervention.

How to use the contribution
The operator will collect the contribution, while only the telecommunications operators offering the internet service can combine the tablet or PC. Therefore, you will not be able to choose the preferred model. The aspiring beneficiaries must submit a request accompanied by a copy of the identity document and a self-certification certifying the value of the ISEE below 20 thousand euros and that the members of the same family have not already benefited from the contribution. The operator will then transmit the data to the portal which must be put online by Infratel.
Within 60 days, Infratel pays the total amount of the contribution for each beneficiary to the operator’s dedicated account, net of 5% to guarantee the correct performance of the service. This sum will be repaid within the term of validity of the Plan, that is one year.
The decree provides that the contribution is paid for connectivity at at least 30 Mbit / s in download. To access, families must be completely devoid of an internet service or in any case must not already have a connection that goes from 30 megabits upwards. Only one contribution will be recognized for each family unit present in the same home. You can exit the signed contract at no cost by making use of the bonus to sign another one with the portability of the residual amount of the contribution.
