Bonus 500 euros: products excluded so far can be purchased. Hurry, it expires on August 31st

The teachers’ bonus basically consists of a voucher worth 500 euros for full-time and part-time teachers of permanent positions in state educational institutions, including teachers who are training and trial period, of goods and services useful for professional updating.

Recently on the site cartadeldocente.istruzione.it, the 500 euro bonus FAQ has been updated. Two the most important changes:

• extended the period within which teachers can use the bonus to 31 August 2020;
• now you can buy products and services previously excluded.

Teacher card, what can you buy?

With the 500 euro bonus, as reported in the “FAQ – Teacher card 2019-2020”Available on the cartadeldocente.truction.it website, teachers can purchase:

• books, texts, publications and magazines (also in digital format) useful for professional updating, not necessarily attributable to the disciplines taught by the teacher;
• hardware (personal computers, laptops or notebooks, handheld computers, e-book readers, tablets, educational robotics tools);
• software;
• enrollment in courses for updating and qualification of professional skills, carried out by bodies accredited / qualified at the Ministry of Education, degree courses related to the professional profile;
• online courses from institutions accredited or qualified by MIUR;
• courses for the study of a foreign language;
• fattening titles for theaters, cinemas, museums, exhibitions, cultural events and live performances;
• other initiatives consistent with the activities identified within the three-year plan of the educational offer of schools and the National Training Plan.

What can’t I buy?

However, it is not possible to purchase:

• smartphones or other devices whose main function is that of communication;
• toner cartridges, printers, USB sticks, video cameras, cameras and video projectors and, in general, other “partial” components of electronic devices;
• subscription for the ADSL data transmission line.
