Card Hog launched in Steam Early Access in June of last year and features a dungeon crawler where the cards themselves are the dungeon. Wayward Souls is an action role-playing game with permanent death. Initially, we lead a paladin whose platoon has been decimated by an unknown force. By dint of research, the hero enters a dark tower inhabited by a diabolical being. Following an intense but short battle, the paladin dies. Other heroes will then take his suite and find themselves against their will locked in the bowels of the tower.

These characters are, at the start, three in number: the warrior, the mage and the thief. Three more are unlocked as the game progresses: an adventurer, a mage-warrior and a cultist. Each of these classes has a basic attack, a more powerful one, two active skills and a passive skill tree. The way to play them is totally different and allows you to try out various strategies.

The game comes in the form of randomly generated yet surprisingly consistent dungeons. And it seems that with each new game session, we encounter different enemies, atmospheres and events.
