Eventually, Bonnie became more than good friends with alcoholic drinks and the drink was a big part of her life. “I got up with a glass of wine,” she says. “White or red. Usually rosé. That was as normal as brushing your teeth is.”
Bonnie does regret that many people have the opinion of her as if she were sitting on a ladder every night. She was not often drunk on stage. “That rarely happened. It was not such a problem.”
