CDMX. – Daniel Craig may have said goodbye to his role as James Bond in No Time to Die, but the story of 007 will live on.
Fans of the film saga, which has starred Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, among others, were left with expectations since the encouraging message “James Bond will return” that appeared at the end of the film released in 2021.
According to entertainment lawyer and Bond enthusiast Ajay Chowdhury, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson could unveil the next chapter of the saga on November 17, the day they will both receive the Irving G Thalberg Award from the Hollywood Academy.
The chances of this story’s return are greater following Amazon’s acquisition of MGM in May 2021, which included a significant portion of the James Bond rights.
Chowdhury believes that a similar strategy will be adopted to the one Disney used when it acquired Star Wars
“When Disney bought Lucasfilm there wasn’t a movie for three years. There’s tons of work being done, it’s just not things like scripts,” he told the Sunday Times.
