The measure, which has been in force since March 14, is intended to prevent the spread of the corona virus to Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. For that reason, flights from almost all countries are banned.
Aircraft from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Great Britain are still allowed to land there, as well as flights from Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
Until now, an exception was also the case for France, but given the increasing number of infections, that country has been removed from the list.
Incidentally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently advising against all unnecessary travel to the BES islands.
