Bomb blast near Israeli embassy: Special team begins gathering evidence

New Delhi: A special team of Delhi Police arrived on Saturday to gather more evidence about the blast near the Israeli embassy.

A cover letter and a note addressed to the Israeli embassy were found in a half-burnt pink silk cloth and polythene bag. Police also questioned some Iranian nationals in Delhi.

A team of ten from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the site of the blast on Friday and collected the remains of iron and ball bearings. Delhi Police Commissioner S.N. Srivastava had also reached the spot.
