The transportation service platform Bolt presents fourth-generation electric scooters to Lithuanian customers. Only at the end of last year was the mobile vehicle fully manufactured by Bolt. With innovative software and hardware, these electric scooters are by far the safest in the entire micromobility market.
Vilnius residents will try it first
Bolt 4 electric scooters are already available on the streets of Vilnius this week. Recently, the safest scooters have started rolling in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
The construction of the fourth generation Bolt electric scooters ensures a safer journey: lowered center of gravity, increased distance from the ground, improved wheel angle. Unusually light scooters are also equipped with sensors to warn the driver of impending falls, collisions with obstacles, during sudden braking or careless maneuvering.
Eimantas Balta, Bolt’s head of electric scooter development in the Baltic States, also emphasizes that audible messages will attract the attention not only of the scooter’s driver, but also of pedestrians – after hearing the audible signal, pedestrians will be able to react immediately.
“When providing the electric scooter rental service to customers, we constantly remind us about safety in various ways. Therefore, I am glad that the safest electric scooter created so far according to the latest technologies can already be tested by Vilnius residents and guests of the city, ”says E. Balta.
The new generation of scooters is even more sustainable
Bolt says the new scooters are also even greener because they are built to the highest sustainability standards – they are fully recyclable, lightweight, and reduce CO2 emissions during production and transportation. Bolt’s Head of Electric Scooter Development in the Baltics is pleased that the leading platform for transportation services is showing leadership by taking active action to reduce pollution in cities through active public debate on sustainability issues.
“The fourth-generation scooters delivered to Vilnius residents help to have a lower impact on the environment, because once its battery is discharged, vehicles will no longer have to be assembled and transported to the warehouse for charging – contractors will simply replace the discharged battery with a charged one. In this way, customers will be able to resume travel immediately, ”emphasizes E. Balta.
Bolt reminds that safe travel depends not only on the vehicle, but also on the responsibility of the drivers. When driving an electric scooter, it is mandatory to follow the Road Traffic Rules and drive only one by one, and the driver must reduce the speed when walking near it. Once the destination has been reached, the electric vehicle must be left parked in such a way that it does not obstruct or endanger other road users.
