For the first 7 days, any delivery within a radius of 2 km from the place of delivery will be free of charge for users. Initially, the app will have restaurants such as Tokyo City, Gan Bei, Redbus, Picburg, Hesburger and others. It will be possible to order food from Mego stores. All orders will be delivered in a contactless manner to reduce communication between the restaurant, store employees, couriers and platform customers.
“We do not stop developing and, taking into account customer demand, continue to expand rapidly at the regional level. We are pleased to be able to help restaurants and grocery stores to deliver efficiently and quickly in Jurmala,” says Klavs Gipters, Bolt Food’s head in Latvia.
To place an order, you need to download the “Bolt Food” application for Apple or Android devices. To place an order, you must provide a delivery address, select a restaurant or shop, mark dishes, and pay for the order with a bank card through the mobile app. Before the order is confirmed, both the estimated delivery time and the total amount of the order will be displayed.
In August last year, the Bolt Food platform was launched in Estonia, followed by both the Lithuanian and Latvian markets. With the growing popularity of the service, “Bolt Food” is already available in several Latvian cities – Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, Liepaja and now also in Jurmala.
