Bolshoi Theater? The accused mother-in-law fainted in court – 2024-08-23 12:26:48

Isn’t a new judicial Bolshoi theater taking place?

Krasimira Trifonova, accused of the murder of her brother-in-law Peyo Peev, asked to be placed in a psychiatric hospital on the territory of Sofia and then fainted in court. She was brought to a courtroom from the psychiatric ward of the prison in Lovech and asked for the remand measure to be changed, but the court did not grant her request.

According to her lawyer, Trifonova is completely inadequate.

“Her condition is hopeless, she is mentally and physically powerless – her lawyer explained to the court. – Krasimira is a walking skeleton, she has no energy for anything, she is disoriented in time, year, space. She believes that her mother is dead, she has no sister, and she thinks of a father. She claims she was a gardener in her past. Her grandchildren were kidnapped, and she was deprived of all her property.”

The lawyer added that in detention she was given medication that worsened her health.

“Look at her, Mr. Chairman – he turned to the judge. – She talks about demons, injections and underground laboratories. She does not eat because the food is poisoned. I thought they were going to take her organs.”

Krasimira Trifonova did not react when the court gave her the last word. Minutes later he passed out.

The Panel found that the substantiated suggestion that she had committed the act was present with the same intensity as before. It was not swayed by the new written or oral evidence added to the case.

He also accepted that there was no danger of absconding, but considered that there was a possibility of committing another crime, despite the fact that she had no convictions and had good characteristics.

The court added that her detention was within reason.

The next hearing in the case will be on August 29.
