Olga Smirnova, principal soloist of the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, joins the Dutch National Ballet. Working in Russia had become impossible after she spoke out last week against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “I never thought I would be ashamed of Russia,” wrote Smirnova.
