The world-famous Bolshoi Theater in Moscow will be showing several of its constantly sold out ballet and opera performances on the Internet for the first time until April 10th. This Saturday the box office hit of the top ballet – “Sleeping Beauty” follows.

The start is always in the evening – with 24 hours availability. Until April 10th there will also be a historical performance of “Nutcracker” and the national opera “Boris Godunow”. Before the start of the performances, which are part of the “Golden Collection” of the Temple of Muse, there will be a 30-minute conversation with various artists from the largest theater in Russia, including the ballet dancers Denis Rodkin and Igor Zwirko. For the Bolshoi, this was a completely new form of audience loyalty in times when many had to stay at home because of the corona virus, the theater said. In the largest city in Europe, all theaters are closed until April 10 due to the virus.
