In fifth place in the Italian championship and proving to be one of the sensational teams, Bologna is looking to reinforce its squad in January and is once again in the hunt for Musa. At this point, according to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, there is only one detail separating an agreement between the Serie A club and Benfica.

According to this source, Bologna intends to guarantee the forward’s loan with a purchase option set at 10 million euros. Now, the Reds’ SAD agrees with this value, but wants to transform the option clause into an obligation to purchase.

Furthermore, as Record has already reported, Benfica wants to wait before making a final decision in relation to Musa.

With Tengstedt injured and Marcos Leonardo still needing a period of adaptation, Roger Schmidt only has Arthur Cabral and Musa for the striker position. Gonçalo Guedes can also be used in the position, but he has only received a few minutes and could even be leaving.
