The Italian Prime Minister, with her official statement, expressed her “full solidarity” with the police forces and added: “it is regrettable to find that a certain left continues to tolerate, and sometimes encourage violent elements, instead of openly condemning such events and to show solidarity with those who work, every day, to protect our security”.

The secretary of the Italian Democratic Party, Ellie Sline, with reference to yesterday’s gathering of members of the neo-fascist organization Casa Pound, always in Bologna, underlined:
“Bologna deserves better than demonstrations of the nationalist extreme right, which in Europe has always brought and continues to cause wars, destruction and poverty. It must be decided to dissolve the neo-fascist organizations, it is something that should have been done a long time ago”.
In yesterday’s clashes in Bologna, according to what became known, ten far-left demonstrators and three police officers were injured.
