Bologna FC interested in Juventus left-back

After a decent but unspectacular first campaign in Turin, the Juventus is now carefully considering the future of Luca Pellegrini. The left-back originally signed for the Bianconeri in 2019 in a swap deal which saw Leonardo Spinazzola join the rome. He spent his first two campaigns on loan at Cagliari and Genoa respectively, before joining Max Allegri’s first team last season. While the 23-year-old showed encouraging signs last season, experienced players like Alex Sandro and Mattia De Sciglio often got the green light at his expense. So, would the club consider parting ways with the former Roma player this summer?

According to Corriere dello Sport via TuttoJuve, Bologna could open talks with Juventus for Pellegrini in the coming days. Perhaps the Italian would replace Aaron Hickey who has attracted interest from several top European clubs. However, the source warns that the left-back is currently earning €2m per season which would exceed Bologna FC’s budgets.
